Direct-Push Sampling

Total Support Services currently operates 2 Simco Earthprobe 200's. These small, compact sampling units can be mounted on a variety of vehicles. The ATV and skid mounted probes are very versatile and can sample in the most difficult locations. They are ideal for small spaces between buildings, inside buildings, or any area that has low clearance or difficult access points, as well as muddy lowland terrain. The truck mounted probe is the more heavy duty version capable of sampling quicker and deeper than the ATV and skid mounted probes. We have used our probes in many different ways including real estate environmental assessments, soil characterization, soil gas vapor sampling, groundwater sampling, contamination plume delineation, and ORC injection. We can even drill and set 1" piezometers using the rotary head mounted above the pneumatic hammer. The probe is ideal for initial site assessment. The exploratory borings are only 2" in diameter. It is a very quick and easy and is the least intrusive of all soil sampling methods.
